The Australian Government has committed to funding Working Women’s Centres to support women facing workplace issues, including sexual harassment and discrimination.
This funding allows existing Centres in South Australia, the Northern Territory, and Queensland to expand their services, enabling them to assist even more women in need.
In addition, new Centres have been funded to establish operations in the following locations:
- New South Wales: Women’s Legal Services
- Australian Capital Territory (ACT): Women’s Legal Services
- Victoria: South East Monash Legal in consortium with West Justice, Northern Community Legal Centre, and Women’s Legal Services
- Tasmania: Women’s Legal Services in partnership with Worker Assist Tasmania
- Western Australia: Women’s Legal Services in partnership with Circle Green Community Legal Centre
